Beaugency

In 1108, élie de Beaugency, knight and faithful servant of the King of France RobertⅡ, began to plant a vineyard in the Loire Valley to produce the best sacramental wine of the kingdom. In the 14th century, the lands, property of the king Philippe VI, were sold. To create a new vineyard, the Beaugency descendants migrated to Bordeaux where wine trade was expanding and the growth of commerce with Eng1and had reinforced their idea of developing the commerce across the North Sea and even around the world. Long committed to quality and tradition, the Beaugency family continues to produce excellent wines and offers a rich and a comprehensive range of qualitative wines from Bordeaux and from other major wine Appellations.
