Located in the South West of the Montagne Saint-Emilion AOC, just near Lalande-de-Pomerol, Chateau Flaunys express the richness of the terroir and the merlot. The name “Flaunys” comes from Celtic-Gaelic meaning “Paradise”, as the cup of wine was the traditional symbol of the Celtic paradise, the elixir of life! In the vineyards, the work is rationally carried out, with accurate observation of the weather forecasts and health conditions to reduce treatments, and with a mechanical work of the soil, frequent tillage, systematic leaf-thinning, green harvesting, and sorting.
