Don Alejandro Rozas, born in 1932, was the eldest son of the family settled in La Mancha for 5 generations, owning large piece of land and producing olive oil in the domain. He went to Madrid to study sciences and agronomy. After spending 2 years travelling all over Europe and discovering the culture in different parts of the world, he came back to the family domain and decided to convert one piece of land to plant vines and produce wines. Soon, due to the good quality and a very affordable price, Don Rozas wines became a success in Spain and later on in the international markets.
